Job summary

Artefact is seeking a seasoned AI/ML leader to drive the design and delivery of production-grade AI solutions, from classical models to LLM-powered applications. You will shape architecture, context engineering, and agent harnesses while partnering with clients and business stakeholders.

You will lead a team of engineers and managers, report to senior technology leadership, and influence pre-sales activity and solution design across the US offices in NYC and LA.

Qualifications

• Leads AI/ML architecture for production-grade systems.
• Defines context engineering and prompt design for complex models.
• Guides pre-sales and solution design with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable AI systems including LLM apps and agentic workflows.
• Standardize context engineering, including prompts, memory, and tooling calls.
• Oversee robust harnesses, observability, and safety for production deployments.
