Job summary

Beast Industries is seeking a Head of Accounts Payable to own A/P and T&E across its multi-entity operations including media production, consumer products, fintech, and emerging ventures. You will lead the Ramp platform end-to-end, manage corporate card programs, bill-pay workflows, procurement, and T&E administration while building a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in procure-to-pay leadership, a CPA or related certification is a plus, and a track record of accelerating

• 12+ years of progressive accounts payable / procure-to-pay experience, including leadership of multi-entity A/P functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification a plus but not required.
• Deep expertise with Ramp and NetSuite.
• A track record of building payment controls and segregation of duties.
• Demonstrated success accelerating P2P cycle times without sacrificing accuracy or control.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounts payable across all entities and business units.
• Own the Ramp platform: corporate card programs, bill pay workflows, procurement, approval hierarchies, and T&E administration.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the A/P and T&E team across locations.
• Accelerate the procure-to-pay cycle across vendor onboarding, PO discipline, invoice processing, and payment execution.
• Administer the company’s T&E and spend policy, including exception management, audits, and policy iteration with Finance leadership.
• Design and maintain rigorous payment controls, including segregation of duties, payment approvals, and fraud prevention.
• Own vendor master governance: onboarding, W-9/W-8 collection, banking verification, and 1099 reporting.
• Partner with treasury workflows on payment runs, cash forecasting inputs, and banking relationships.
• Drive automation across invoice capture, coding, and matching within Ramp and NetSuite.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors on A/P, T&E, and payment control matters.

Play a pivotal role building and leading the company-wide accounts payable and T&E function for Beast Industries; owning the Ramp spend platform, accelerating procure-to-pay, and building rigorous payment controls as the organization continues to scale.

The Role

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Head of Accounts Payable will own accounts payable and travel & expense across all Beast Industries business units — media production, consumer products, fintech, and emerging ventures — and lead the team that keeps a high-volume, multi-entity A/P operation running with accuracy and control. This role owns the Ramp platform end-to-end including corporate cards, bill pay, procurement and T&E workflows, along with vendor management and payment controls. The Head of Accounts Payable will lead and develop an A/P and T&E team while partnering with business leaders to accelerate the procure-to-pay cycle. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on operator with deep procure-to-pay expertise and a builder mentality who can accelerate processes and enhance controls.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
• Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, evolving, high‑transaction‑volume environment

The target total compensation ranges from $186,000 – $228,000 including a fixed annual salary of $155,000 – $190,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
