University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery seeks a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgeon to join its growing academic practice. The role involves comprehensive patient care, teaching residents, and active clinical research.

Responsibilities include multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and scholarly activity, with opportunities for leadership within the department. Salary commensurate with experience; benefits included.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency completed in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology completed.
• Board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage head and neck diseases, benign and malignant.
• Perform head and neck surgeries within trained scope.
• Collaborate with oncology, pathology, radiology, and other teams.
• Participate in tumor boards and quality-improvement activities.
• Educate and supervise residents, fellows, and students.
• Support clinical call coverage and other duties.
• Contribute to research, presentations, publications, and academia.
• Engage in departmental, institutional and professional services.
