Victor Valley Community College in California is seeking a part-time coaching role for student athletes. The position offers an hourly teaching assignment basis and a $12,000 coaching stipend per season, with compensation based on education level and bargaining agreement.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with two years of professional experience or an associate degree with six years of professional experience.
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to student athletes.
Part-time (up to 67%) hourly teaching assignments are on an as needed basis and instructional salary will be based on Education level in accordance with the Victor Valley Community College‑AFT Collective Bargaining agreement.
Stipend coaching assignments are not subject to load and hourly requirements. Compensation for non‑classroom coaching duties will be covered under the flat‑rate stipend amount for the season.
There is a $12,000 stipend for the coaching salary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience OR the equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
In addition, some specialized courses may require specific certificates (must meet minimum content requirements specified by outside/other agencies based on accreditation).
