Job summary

Exos is seeking a Head Lifeguard in Minneapolis, MN to lead the aquatics team. Responsibilities include frontline patron service, coordinating emergencies per the Emergency Action Plan, managing staff schedules, ensuring lifeguard rotations, adjusting water features, and maintaining safety in the Aquatics Area.

Qualifications include current Lifeguarding certification (or ability to obtain at hire), prior lifeguarding or swim-instruction experience, and current CPR/AED and First Aid

Qualifications

Current accreditation in Lifeguarding or ability to obtain at hire
Prior lifeguarding experience or teaching swim lessons
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain at hire

Responsibilities

Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service
Coordinate emergency response per EAP
Communicate schedule changes to staff and patrons
Ensure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followed
Adjust water features and programs to patron needs
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics Area
Track and replenish first aid and safety supplies
Assist with administrative and programming duties as assigned
Provide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when needed
