Head Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator

This is a full-time position paying $21.00 per hour, with a schedule of M-F 6am-2pm.

VALID LIFEGUARD, CPR, AND CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR CERTIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

We are NFC Amenity Management, the nation's largest luxury amenity service provider for residential and commercial properties, with a portfolio of 350+ top brands across 30 U.S. markets.

As a Head Lifeguard and Certified Pool Operator, you will work at some of the most exclusive addresses. You will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment, proper staffing, and water quality.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring lifeguards.
2. Supervise staff, coordinate meetings and training, manage schedules.
3. Work shifts as a Lifeguard on the pool deck.
4. Create checklists for facility maintenance and cleanliness.
5. Conduct daily inspections and communicate issues to management.
6. Stay updated on industry standards and trends.
7. Perform additional duties related to the property's success.
8. Stand, sit, and move around for extended periods.
9. Follow HR and Risk Management policies.
10. Cover shifts as needed and ensure payroll compliance.

Minimum requirements:

• Current Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications.
• Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification.
• Experience in pool maintenance is a plus.
• Background in customer service and hospitality management.
• Outgoing personality and hospitality-driven attitude.
• Ability to coach, mentor, multitask, and work in a team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
