Job summary

Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 is seeking an experienced lacrosse coach to lead athletes across the district’s four high schools. The role requires coaching experience, strong communication, and a passion for developing players’ fundamentals and game strategy.

The coach will schedule practices and contests, maintain equipment and facilities, and organize team events in coordination with the district Athletics/Activities program.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching lacrosse at high school level.
• Ability to communicate effectively with players, staff and parents.
• Strong organizational and motivational skills.
• Knowledge of lacrosse rules, drills and strategies.
• Maintains equipment and facilities.
• Schedules and supervises contests and practices.
• Organizes team events.
• Other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead lacrosse coaching across four high schools in the district.
• Plan and conduct practices to develop fundamentals and game plans.
• Schedule games and travel, coordinate with opponents and officials.
• Ensure equipment and fields are prepared and safe for use.
• Coordinate with athletic department on eligibility and records.
• Oversee team events and community outreach as required.
