  • ASEP Certification - American Sport Education Program is required.
  • CHSAA Certification - Colorado High School Activities Association is required.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification is preferred or required.
  • Preferred: Teacher License: Initial or Professional in Colorado.

  • Maintains and oversees coaching duties, development, and supervision of athletic program.

  • Ensures equipment is maintained and managed before and during seasons.

  • Adheres to district policies and state/national governing body rules.

Responsible to the Athletic Director and/or a head coach; provides coaching, development, and supervisory responsibilities of an athletic program

Compensation for all hired extra pay positions (coaches, sponsors, ancillary instructors, etc.) is contingent upon the specific athletic, activity, or academic event being approved by the District to occur during the school year related to this position/posting.

Certifications listed as required qualifications may also be obtained upon acceptance of the position.

  • Plans for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual character development of all athlete/athletes in the program

  • Produces practice plans that are detailed and assist with the advancement of individual skills progression and and strategy development

  • Regularly pursues appropriate professional learning activities

  • Rosters, transportation requests, certifications are handed in prior to deadlines.

  • Supervises all facilities and athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions
