Job summary

Firefly Club, LLC in Tennessee seeks an experienced Grounds Superintendent to lead the development and long-term management of the property's landscape and grounds maintenance program. This is a leadership role with involvement in installation, plant selection, and horticultural planning for a private golf community.

The successful candidate will build the Grounds Department, establish standards and culture, and work with Golf Maintenance leadership to shape the property's visual identity as

Qualifications

Progressive landscape management experience at a premier property.
Pesticide license (Tennessee) or ability to obtain one.
Strong communication, organizational, and budgeting skills.
Experience with large-scale landscape construction or grow-in projects.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor Grounds Department employees.
Establish departmental expectations, procedures, and quality standards.
Develop and manage landscape maintenance programs by season.
Oversee care of ornamental beds, trees, shrubs, and native landscapes.
Collaborate with Golf Maintenance, architects, contractors, and ownership on plant selection and installation.
Manage irrigation strategies, fertilization, pest management, and seasonal color.
