Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Authorization or Coaching Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct safe, organized practices and competitions.
• Teach golf fundamentals, strategy, sportsmanship, and course etiquette.
• Foster a positive team culture with respect and accountability.
• Promote academic, personal, and athletic development of student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administration, and assistants.
• Manage equipment, uniforms, budgets, and program needs.
• Ensure compliance with district, conference, and state rules.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, and travel.
• Grow the golf program through community relationships and youth engagement.
• Attend district trainings and coaches' meetings.
