Plano High School is actively seeking a Head Girls Soccer Coach to lead all aspects of the girls' soccer program, plan practices, manage staff, and ensure competitive performance and student growth. The role requires liaising with administration, coordinating eligibility, and maintaining records for the season.

The candidate must hold a PEL or certified coach credential with ASEP or substitute certification.

Qualifications

• Plan, manage, and monitor all aspects of the Plano High School Girls Soccer Program.
• Develop well-organized practice schedules and utilize staff at all levels.
• Maintain eligibility, registration, game scores, stats, records, etc.
• Cooperate with athletic and school administration for a quality athletic experience.
• Provide supervision of locker rooms, training room, and bus trips; manage equipment."
• Qualifications: PEL or certified coach, ASEP certification and/or substitute certification required.

General Description of Position

Successful candidate will:

• Plan for, manage, and monitor all aspects of the Plano High School Girls Soccer Program
• Develop a well-organized practice schedule that utilizes their staff at all levels
• Maximize practice time for both individual, team, and program development
• Develop a well-defined academic plan for all students to increase academic performance
• Maintain timely management of paperwork requirements for the purposes of eligibility, registration, game scores, stats, records, etc.
• Cooperate with the athletic and school administration to provide a quality Athletic experience for all athletes
• Provide and plan for proper supervision of locker room, training room, and bus trips
• Take an active role in the care of equipment, including issuance, collection, inventory, storage, and maintenance.
• Communicate with administration about athletic equipment requests, budget needs, unusual events, etc.
• Follow proper district procedure for the purchase of equipment and operate within the budget
• Participate and plan for special events such as banquets, and recognize athletes for their accomplishments
• Attend all-conference meetings and stay in compliance with IHSA requirements
• Seek out professional development opportunities for themselves and their staff
• Maintain communication with feeder coaches, college/university programs, parents, athletes, and the transportation department both within and outside the season
• Provide a summer/offseason program to develop skills and strength
• Qualifications: PEL or certified coach, ASEP certification and/or substitute certification required
