Qualifications

• Must have an understanding of student‑athlete safety and proper skill set training for coaching competitive interscholastic cross country.
• Ability to pass a background and criminal history check.
• Must possess and maintain a valid first aid/CPR/AED card.
• Must pass all training as designated by the OSAA and Jewell School District.

Responsibilities

• Train student-athletes using safe and strenuous sport‑specific exercise.
• Supervise and teach student-athletes based on OSAA and Jewell policies.
• Inform school district, parents, and public about student-athlete and team progress.
