Job description

Seton Catholic Preparatory High School accepting applications for the Wrestling Head Coach position. We are excited to identify a strong leader who will continue to build on the tradition of our program while developing student‑athletes in alignment with Seton Catholic’s mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices, open mat time, conditioning, and match‑day preparation.
• Coach and develop student‑athletes in strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Oversee season planning, scheduling, and program communication.
• Maintain team discipline and uphold school and athletic department policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and school administration.
• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well‑being of student‑athletes at all activities.
• Drive team on Seton activity buses. (Requires online training, MVD background and onsite vehicle orientation.)

Qualifications

• Prior wrestling coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of wrestling fundamentals, training principles, and development.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of student‑athletes.
• Ability to support and represent the mission of Seton Catholic Preparatory.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
