Job summary

Fair Lawn Public School District is seeking a Head Coach for Winter Athletics for the 2026-2027 school year at Fair Lawn High School. This position requires a valid New Jersey Instructional or Educational Services certificate or Substitute Credential, as well as CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and experience working with at-risk students. The role is part-time and does not include benefits. Various winter sports will be supported including basketball, wrestling, and swimming.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid NJ certification for the position.
• Requires CPR, First Aid, AED, and other NJSIAA mandated certifications.
• Experience working with at-risk students is preferred.

HEAD COACH - WINTER ATHLETICS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid NJ Instructional or Educational Services certificate or Substitute Credential
• Hold CPR, First Aid, AED and Concussion/other NJSIAA mandated certificates
• Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting
• Strong instructional background
• Experience working with at-risk students
