Job summary

Voorhees High School seeks a Spring 2026-2027 Head Coach for Strength & Fitness to lead athletics and oversee coaching. The role requires NJ instructional certification or eligibility, experience with students, sport-specific training, injury prevention, and maintaining high standards of conduct.

A background check and residency status verification are required. The stipend for the 2026-2027 school year ranges from $1,110 to $11,579; this is a stipend-only position with no health benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or eligibility or County Substitute Certificate.
• Experience working with or coaching students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport, sports training and conditioning, injury prevention and management and the principles of human growth and development.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for athletes.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
