Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Colorado is seeking a Head Coach to lead a dynamic team and drive community activation across the studio. You will oversee scheduling, coach development, and sales initiatives while delivering high-energy, science-based workouts.

The ideal candidate inspires others with a GO-GETTER attitude, mentors coaches, and champions member results through heart-rate-focused training and excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the listed certifications and be AED/CPR certified.
• Proven ability to lead a team of fitness professionals and drive results.
• Strong communication and community outreach capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coach 8 to 12 classes per week.
• Lead community outreach, marketing, and coach evaluations.
• Recruit and interview fitness professionals to join the team.
• Drive sales conversions and manage studio scheduling.
• Deliver coach workshops and develop the group fitness program.

Head Coach / Community Activator

This position runs all the "beyond the glass” back-of-house” fitness studio operations, including driving sales conversions, hiring, and training fitness pros, managing the schedule, and community outreach at single Orangetheory Fitness studio.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation: Per Class + Hourly + Special incentives
• $30 to $85 per class
• $17 to $25 per hour for client management, community outreach, events, training, and recruiting.

• The annual Compensation Range of per class, hourly, and special incentives is approximately $51,000 to $72,000

More About the Position

• Coach 8 to 12 classes per week.
• Spend about 12 to 18 hours a week doing community outreach marketing, planning, customer care contacts, coach evaluations, and delivering coach workshops.
• Lead a team of engaged fitness professionals and help our members achieve More Life!
• Inspire and motivate members through pre-designed workouts.
• Make sure members are safe and using the correct form.
• Offer form corrections on the rower, tread, or weight room floor.
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing.
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Requirements - Must Have One of the Following Certifications

About Us

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up their metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
