Head Coach – Men's & Women's Golf

Location: Walla Walla, WA

Open Date: April 23, 2026

Position begins July 2026 as a non‑tenure track faculty position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all phases of a successful and competitive Men's & Women’s Golf program while modeling integrity, respect, accountability, and a strong commitment to the scholar‑athlete model.
• Work as a member of the team in the Whitman Athletic Department and support the goals, objectives, philosophies, policies, and procedures of the department and the college.
• Create a diverse, positive, and inclusive environment for the student‑athletes to excel academically and athletically, aligned with Whitman College expectations and the NCAA Division III philosophy.
• Create and develop an evolving, positive, diverse, and inclusive team environment that develops and allows for student‑athletes to meet their full potential on the athletic field and in the academic setting.
• Provide culture building, character building, and life skills (career development, leadership skills, time management, work ethic) in and out of season.
