Job summary

24 Hour Fitness Escondido, CA seeks a Head Coach to design comprehensive fitness programs, mentor coaches, and support onboarding. The role splits roughly 60% personal training time with 40% coaching staff onboarding and support, requiring a full-time commitment of 30+ hours per week and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
• Holistic fitness program design and consultation experience required.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Willingness to work 30+ hours weekly including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to safely adjust and operate fitness equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on client goals.
• Mentor coach performance through observation, training, and development.
• Support onboarding and training of new coaches.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring coaches.
• Support fitness goal setting, scheduling, and coach performance.
• Build fitness business through new client acquisition and retention.
• Set expectations and track progress with clients.
