Job summary

Okaloosa County School District at Choctawhatchee High in Fort Walton Beach, Florida is seeking a Head Coach for Competitive Cheer for the 2026-2027 season (October 2026–February 2027).

Qualified applicants must hold a Florida Dept. of Education Athletic Coaching Certificate, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and demonstrated experience coaching competitive cheer teams. This is a full-time coaching position with duties to lead and develop the program.

Qualifications

• Florida Athletic Coaching Certificate (FDOE) is required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification by AHA or ARC.
• Experience with competitive cheer teams.

Head Coach - Competitive Cheer 2026-2027 season October 2026 - February 2027 *note that this is different than Side Line Cheer (Fall and Winter season) Qualification\Certifications Will need to have or acquire upon selection current Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE).
