Job summary

North Hunterdon High School seeks a Spring 2026–2027 Boys Tennis Head Coach to lead the program, coach student-athletes, and coordinate practices. The role requires a valid New Jersey instructional certificate or eligibility and a background check.

The stipend-only position offers the opportunity to mentor athletes, promote safe training, and build a competitive program within the high school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or eligibility or County Substitute Certificate.
• Experience working with or coaching students.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport, sports training and conditioning, injury prevention and management and the principles of human growth and development.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for athletes.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Responsibilities

• Head coach for North Hunterdon High School boys tennis for the 2026-2027 school year.
• Develop and oversee practice sessions, conditioning, and sport-specific training.
