Kentucky Country Day School seeks an enthusiastic Middle School Boys Basketball Head Coach for the upcoming winter season. The role focuses on developing 5th & 6th grade players, planning practices, directing games, and upholding KCD's values on sportsmanship and teamwork.

Based on our Louisville campus, this on-site position emphasizes safety, communication with families and the Athletic Department, and a growth-oriented coaching environment.

Qualifications

• Prior basketball coaching or playing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to promoting a supportive, growth-oriented environment consistent with KCD athletic values.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute structured, energetic practices focused on fundamental skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Direct game strategies, manage rotations, and model positive sideline behavior during competitions.
• Maintain clear communication with student-athletes, parents, and the Athletic Department regarding practice and game schedules.
• Ensure athlete safety during all practices, games, and team events.
