Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Chicago is seeking a Head Coach to lead a team of engaged professionals and guide members through our heart-rate focused workouts. You’ll listen, motivate, and demonstrate proper form, while fostering a passionate and collaborative studio environment.

Requirements include holding a current fitness certification approved by Orangetheory Fitness and AED/CPR certification. You’ll have opportunities for advancement and comprehensive training to support your success.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
• AED/CPR certification required.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of coaches.

As a Head Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
• Be AED/CPR certified
