Job summary

BuySphere Retail Staffing is seeking a Head Chef to lead our Malayalee cuisine kitchen in Akron. The successful candidate will oversee all kitchen operations, supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff, and ensure the authenticity and high quality of our Malayalee dishes.

You will plan menus, train staff, manage stock and food costs, enforce health and safety standards, and collaborate with management on marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef in a Malayalee cuisine restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Malayalee dishes, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Food safety certification is preferred.
