Job summary

North Kansas City Schools’ Antioch Middle School in Gladstone, MO seeks a 2026-27 Head Boys Wrestling Coach. This part-time role starts immediately, with stipend per Supplemental Salary Schedule.

You will lead practices, schedule contests, supervise safety, and promote discipline and sportsmanship among student‑athletes. A valid Missouri teaching license or substitute certificate is required; coaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri teaching license or substitute certificate.
• Preferred previous coaching experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions.
• Board may find alternatives acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coaching participants to develop skills for success in wrestling.
• Assists in planning and scheduling regular practices during the season.
• Works with athletic director and Head Coach to schedule interscholastic contests.
• Recommends equipment, supplies, and uniforms as appropriate.
• Maintains attendance forms and related paperwork.
• Oversees safety conditions of facilities when students are present.
• Demonstrates effective human relations and communication skills.
• Complies with district rules and policies.
