Prospect High School seeks a strong, experienced Head Boys Water Polo Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is teacher-leader, guiding a competitive and developmentally sound program that embodies equity, character, and sportsmanship.

You will plan long-term strategy, oversee practices, manage the budget and equipment, recruit assistants, and collaborate with administration, boosters, and families to create a positive student-athlete experience.

Qualifications

• ISBE or ASEP certification required.
• Previous head coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the entire Boys Water Polo program.
• Organize and oversee practices, competitions, and team events.
• Develop and manage the program budget and equipment.
• Recruit, support, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Coordinate with school administration, the athletic department, and booster organizations.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, community members, and media outlets.
