Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools invites applications for the FY27: Coach, Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse at Winston Churchill High School. This Temporary Part Time position does not include benefits and wage information is provided by the hiring manager.

Candidates must be interviewed and hired by the school principal or designee for the coaching vacancy. Qualified applicants are MCPS teachers or certified educators, with the required MCPS course on athletic injuries and CPR/AED, and must complete

Qualifications

Be an MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS.
Have completed or be enrolled in the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED" which is offered periodically through the MCPS Athletics Unit.
Complete/submit the on-line MCPS Application.
Be a certified teacher (though not employed by MCPS) for Level I Emergency Coach.
Be a high school graduate for Level II Emergency Coach.
Be at least 21 years of age for Level II Emergency Coach.
Have completed the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED" which is offered periodically through the MCPS Athletics Unit.
Complete/submit the on-line MCPS Application.

Responsibilities

Coaches must be qualified and are hired for one season.
Emergency coaches may be hired if no qualified MCPS teacher or professional certified educator is available.
