Qualifications

• High school coaching experience required; oversee all levels.
• Knowledge of D300 and IHSA requirements, including current athletic physical, Code of Conduct, fees, and academic eligibility.
• Demonstrated ability to model sportsmanship and enforce standards.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take direction from head coach or supervisor.

Dundee‑Crown is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Head Boys Lacrosse Coach for the 2026-2027 school year with a strong knowledge of lacrosse and a focus on student‑athletic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with coaching staff to develop practice and game plans, monitor, teach, instruct, and motivate players.
• Study and break down game film; keep detailed records of practice, progress, and results.
• Coach at all levels within the program and various areas; organize, coordinate, and communicate with parents and the Booster Club.
• Communicate with assistant coaches and the Athletic Director to secure facilities and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in fundraising, organization, and equipment record keeping; oversee strength and speed training off‑season.
• Accompany student‑athletes to practices and games; monitor supervision and transport.
• Maintain end‑of‑season individual and team records and statistics; assist in the seasonal recognition program.
• Engage in personal professional development activities; attend mandatory preseason parent meeting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or administrator.
