The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates. The Three-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate is issued to provide time to complete the requirements for the Five-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate. An additional Athletic Coaching Certificate is not required for individuals who hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate.
