Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.
• The head coach must serve as a role model for student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Has a thorough knowledge of athletic policies and is responsible for their implementation by the staff.
• Coordinates program with maintenance and school employees and schedules events.
• Directs student managers, assistants and statisticians.
• Maintains discipline and analyzes staff effectiveness.
