Responsibilities

  • Recruit high character student workers representing NMJC through leadership and grit.
  • Organize and oversee the athletic training room and supervise student trainers.
  • Maintain operating budget and follow NMJC purchasing procedures.
  • Provide academic advising to student-athletes for degree plans and outcomes.
  • Manage maintenance and improvements of the athletic training facility.
  • Provide leadership that cultivates discipline and guidance per handbooks.
  • Plan and execute team travel documentation and post-travel reconciliation.
  • Fulfill duties for committees and faculty expectations as needed.
  • Engage team in community service and sports camps to enhance community ties.
  • Collaborate with campus resources to boost student success, safety, and welfare.
  • Support NMJC Athletic Strategic Plan and program growth.
  • Complete professional development assignments within the term dates.
