Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a certified senior athletic trainer to provide athletic training services at the college setting for NGPG Sports Medicine. Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure and be in good standing with the State of Georgia and NABOC and must also be certified in professional BLS.
• Master's Degree in athletic training or related field.
• Preferred college experience for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provides cost effective and high quality care to patients served, including rehabilitation, education and on-site treatment of acute injuries.
• Oversees athletic services as head athletic trainer at the school and coordinates coverage at sporting events.
• Documents treatment procedures and runs monthly audit reports for timely documentation.
• Schedules MD visits and follow-up, communicates with coaches/administration and manages insurance matters.
