Job summary

Network Connex is seeking an HDD Operator to install underground telecom and utility infrastructure. You'll work with the Locator, Foreman, and field crew to ensure safe, accurate bore paths and conduit installations.

The role combines hands-on drilling with strict adherence to designs and safety standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of HDD experience with Ditch Witch AT40 or similar rigs, a valid driver's license, OSHA certification preferred, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs while

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HDD experience operating Ditch Witch AT40 drill rig.
• Experience with Ditch Witch, Vermeer or similar directional drilling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD drilling equipment and execute bore plans per specifications.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues promptly.
• Record bore logs and drilling metrics; communicate progress to Foreman.
• Collaborate with Locator, Foreman, and field crew to meet schedules.
