Qualifications

• 1–3 years HDD/utility locating experience.
• Fiber jetting experience is a plus.
• Experience operating and calibrating electronic locating receivers and transmitters.

Responsibilities

• Drill Head Tracking with HDD locating systems to monitor bore head.
• Identify and mark existing underground utilities using EM locators and GPR.
• Provide real-time guidance to drill operator to adjust bore path.
• Read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and 811 tickets; inspect site for hazards.
• Maintain bore logs and as-built sketches for installations.
• Assist crew with drilling fluids, rig setup, and potholing to verify utility crossings.
