Job summary

Hope Church’s Hope Christian Prep in Las Vegas, NV seeks a part-time Classroom Assistant. You will support the lesson planning teacher, prepare daily supplies, and help maintain a clean, safe classroom for children ages 2–6.

You will follow age-appropriate plans, assist with behavior and health/safety, and coordinate with parents and staff. A 90-day probation and required certifications are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Member of Hope Church in good standing.
• Willing to follow Hope Church policies and code of conduct.
• Diligent about health, safety, and child wellbeing during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow age-appropriate lesson plans daily.
• Prep classroom and materials for daily plans.
• Assist with proper classroom management as it pertains to behavior, schedule, health, and safety.
• Assist with cleaning and disinfecting of classroom surfaces.
• Communicate clearly with students, classroom teacher and parents.
• Obtain Childcare Licensing background check prior to start date.

This is a weekday morning, school-year commitment.
