Job summary

Friendship Village Tempe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain our community facilities. You will tackle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and building systems to keep the campus safe and attractive.

We value hands-on problem solvers with at least two years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Arizona driver's license. HVAC/EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (within 30 days of hire).
• HVAC/EPA certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and work in varying conditions.
• Flexibility for occasional on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Tackle repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliances, and building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and electric carts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using tools, testing equipment, and schematics.
• Assist with HVAC, pumps, motors, and other facility systems as qualified.
• Support emergency systems, safety procedures, and building security.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and keep tools and work areas in great shape.
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents and team members.

Pay: $22.20-$24.42 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 6:30am-3:00pm
