Job description

Who we are:
Experienced DVM – Leadership Opportunity

Vetsavers Pet Hospital Carrollton | Carrollton, Texas

Vetsavers Pet Hospital Carrollton is seeking an experienced, motivated veterinarian to join our team with an opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the practice.

We are looking for a clinician who is confident in their medicine, enjoys developing relationships with clients and colleagues, and is ready to have a greater voice in the direction of a veterinary practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DVM who wants to combine high-quality patient care with mentorship, team development, and practice leadership.

The Opportunity

As an experienced DVM, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Practice high-quality, compassionate medicine with a supportive team
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
  • Mentor and support associate veterinarians and the broader medical team
  • Contribute to medical protocols, workflow, and clinical standards
  • Help develop and maintain a positive, collaborative hospital culture
  • Take on increasing leadership responsibility based on your interests and experience
  • Work in an environment where your clinical judgment, experience, and ideas are valued
What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a veterinarian who brings:

  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
  • A strong foundation in companion-animal medicine and surgery
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
  • Confidence in clinical decision-making and case management
  • A collaborative approach to working with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • An interest in mentorship and developing other veterinary professionals
  • A desire to take the next step toward medical and/or hospital leadership

A strong interest in leadership is more important than having previously held a formal leadership title. We are willing to invest in the right veterinarian who is ready to grow.

Benefits & Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support your professional growth, financial well-being, and quality of life. Benefits include competitive base compensation with production opportunities, health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, continuing education support and CE allowance, professional liability coverage, licensing and professional dues, employee pet-care benefits, and opportunities for additional leadership compensation and professional development. We believe our veterinarians should be rewarded for both the quality of medicine they provide and the value they bring to the team.

Why Vetsavers Pet Hospital Carrollton?

This is an opportunity to join a team where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets, their families, and the people you work alongside. We want our veterinarians to have the support and resources they need to practice excellent medicine while continuing to develop professionally.

If you are an experienced DVM looking for more than simply another associate position—and are ready for an opportunity to influence your team, your medicine, and the future of the practice—we would love to hear from you.
