Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a motivated scientist to join the Schwartz Laboratory in the Division of Gastroenterology, Medicine, to design and conduct research on HBV biology and viral persistence.

The role includes omics-based data analysis, data management, and documenting experimental results. The candidate will train researchers, assist with grant reporting, and contribute to innovative human infection models using stem cell-derived hepatocytes and CRISPR/Cas9.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Work Experience: Research experience 4 years.
• Driver's License: Not required.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements algorithms and software for omics-based data sets.
• Data management and analysis solutions for large datasets.
• Independent research projects with protocol design and data collection.
