Job description

The Health & Beauty/General Merchandise position assists customers in their shopping experience by leading all aspects of the HBC/GM area in a way that promotes growth for the company and results in a team that delivers the product and service Balls Food Store customers expect.

Responsibilities

1. Be knowledgeable about the items in your department to answer customer questions accurately and courteously.
2. Resolve customer complaints professionally and involve management when appropriate.
3. Implement the Balls Food Stores Vision Statement.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of customer service, retail, or stocking experience (preferred).
2. Ability to reach overhead up to 84 inches, twist at the waist, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
3. Push and pull grocery items to proper locations, up to 40 lbs.
4. Stand and walk for extended periods on hard surfaces.
5. Occasionally lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
6. Bend and squat to floor level as needed.
7. Climb ladders up to 15 ft.
