Job summary

Puryear Tank Lines in Cherokee, AL is hiring CDL-A Hazmat/Tanker drivers with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Hazmat/Tanker endorsed hires who also hold a TWIC card. Earn $75,000-$150,000 annually with steady year-round work and late-model equipment.

You'll operate tractor-trailers, perform required inspections, and stay compliant with DOT rules. Ideal candidates have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 2+ years of Class A driving, 6 months tanker experience in the last 3 years, are 23+, and can pass

Qualifications

• CDL-A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• At least 6 months liquid tanker experience (within last 3 years).
• Must be 23 years or older.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a TWIC card.
• Willing to pass pre-employment driving test, DOT physical, and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer transporting liquid materials.
• Perform routine inspections (walking, bending, and climbing required).
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
• Attend safety meetings and training programs to remain up-to-date on safety policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL-A licensewith Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 2 yearsClass A driving experience
