Job summary

JRP Energy seeks a Fuel Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver petroleum products to commercial and retail customers in the Chesapeake, VA area. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain documentation, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to interpret

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver petroleum products to customer locations while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any equipment defects or safety concerns.
• Load and unload petroleum products at terminals and customer sites using approved operating procedures.
• Verify shipping documents, delivery information, and product accuracy.
• Maintain required records, logs, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, equipment issues, or customer concerns.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in varying traffic, weather, and delivery conditions.
