Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH is looking for an HM183 Tank Inspector to perform VIPK inspections on truck mounted tanks and hazardous material certified units. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a tank inspector (VIPK inspections) required.
• HM-183 Register Inspector Certificate strongly preferred.
• 1+ years diesel mechanic experience with heavy‑duty trucks and/or equipment required.
• Must have own set of basic tools up to ½".

Responsibilities

• Perform VIPK inspections (visual, internal, pressure, leakage).
• Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork.
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance in shop as required.
• Order parts and maintain inventory as required.
• Perform tank tests and ensure compliance with government and company standards.
