Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic driver with a Class A Hazmat license to cover the Fresno, CA plant. You will collect sharps and medical waste from healthcare locations, delivering excellent customer service with autonomy. The role involves over-the-road trips, up to 10 days, and a set hourly rate of $29.

Safety, DOT compliance, and heavy lifting are essential. We offer stable hours, benefits starting Day One, and a modern fleet with comprehensive PPE.

Qualifications

• Class A Hazmat license with a clean driving record and valid medical card.
• Willingness to run out-of-state routes.
• Six months of driving experience with tractor trailers or straight trucks.
• Strong customer service skills and flexible, can-do attitude.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer sites.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Drive straight trucks and tractors up to 53 feet long.
• Load and unload; manage route per schedule and priorities.
• Sleep in a sleeper tractor; meal allowance of $35 per day.
