Job summary

Western Engineering Co Inc is seeking a CDL Service Truck Driver with HazMat and Tanker endorsements to support our paving crews. You will transport, load, and unload materials to construction sites, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have a clean driving record, knowledge of DOT and tanker operations, and the ability to work flexible hours with travel to job sites as needed. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and tanker operations.
• Excellent driving record and a safety-focused mindset.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating service trucks.
• Ability to perform physical loading/unloading and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication with dispatchers and site personnel.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites and work flexible hours.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate service trucks safely and efficiently, transporting hazardous materials and tanker loads to construction sites.
• Adhere to HazMat and Tanker regulations and safety standards at all times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Manage loading and unloading processes following company policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatchers, project managers, and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Report safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with general on-site service tasks as needed to support the team.
