Job summary
Brenntag is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to support chemical distribution with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. You will operate Class 8 tractors, handle hazardous materials, and perform bulk and packaged deliveries while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to DOT/OSHA standards.
The role offers reliable schedules with regular home time, late-model trucks, and ongoing safety training to support a Zero Accidents culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; military experience acceptable.
- CDL Class A with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat endorsements as required by role.
- Current DOT medical card.
- TWIC card or proof of application if location requires.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Minimum 1 year liquid bulk hauling experience or 3 years commercial driving.
- Certification from Accredited Commercial Driving Academy preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractors and trailers for chemical distribution.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous liquids and solids.
- Load/unload using pumps, air, and other equipment; manage transfer and paperwork.
- Deliver both bulk liquids/dry materials and packaged goods.
- Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag safety policies; maintain equipment and logs.
- Communicate with supervisor/dispatcher for delivery instructions.
