Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to support daily chemical distribution in Texas. You will operate Class 8 tractors, haul hazmat and non-hazmat materials, and perform bulk and packaged deliveries while ensuring safety and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, handling required paperwork, and maintaining equipment and logs. The role offers reliable schedules, consistent home time, and modern, safety-forward equipment across Brenntag's network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or US military experience.
• Candidates with chemical delivery experience may be considered if education is not fully met.
• Must meet all driver qualifications (DQ) for employment.
• Class A CDL with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat endorsements as required.
• Current DOT medical card and ability to operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation and driving of a power unit (Class 8 tractors and lower) for chemical distribution.
• Transport of HAZMAT and non-hazardous materials ( liquids and dry ).
• Load/unload materials and complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag safety standards and procedures.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as required.
• Maintain equipment and communicate delivery instructions to supervisor.
