Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. in Madison, Alabama is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support chemical distribution operations.

You will operate Class 8 tractors, haul hazmat and non-hazmat materials, perform loading/unloading, and complete required paperwork with an emphasis on safety and compliance. This role offers reliable schedules, home time, and modern equipment, with training to follow Brenntag safety standards and DOT/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or US military experience.
• Class A CDL with Tanker/Bulk and Hazmat endorsements as required.
• Current DOT medical card and TWIC (where required).
• Ability to operate manual transmission and trucks with safety-consciousness.
• Capable of loading/unloading, paperwork, and DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation of Class 8 tractors for chemical distribution.
• Transport hazmat and non-hazmat liquids and solids; load/unload using pumps and equipment.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA and site rules.
• Coordinate deliveries to customers, vendors, and inter-company transfers.
• Maintain equipment and communicate delivery instructions to supervisor.
