Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Ladson, SC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites. The role includes driving, loading/unloading, and on-site manual labor to support hazardous waste cleanup.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to operate manual transmission, and ability to meet OSHA respiratory and safety standards. Training academy and travel are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must be willing to undergo background, drug test, and medical exam as required.
• OSHA respirator beard standards apply where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team environment.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and load/unload cargo.
• Perform on-site manual labor to meet customer needs.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and various reports.
• Comply with DOT and company safety and environmental guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle site remediation and decontamination duties as needed.
