Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a responsible driver to operate a power unit for chemical distribution in our U.S. operations. You will handle bulk and packaged deliveries, including loading/unloading, with emphasis on safety, paperwork accuracy, and compliance with DOT/OSHA requirements.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Tanker/Bulk/Hazmat endorsements as needed, a clean driving record, and readiness to work overtime or weekends. Local residence within sixty miles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or US military experience.
• Must meet driver qualifications (DQ) for employment.
• Class A CDL with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat Endorsement as required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a power unit (Class 8 tractor or lighter) for chemical distribution.
• Load/unload liquids and solids, including drums, IBCs, and supersacks.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and site rules; complete required paperwork.
• Perform safety checks, securement, and vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisor/dispatcher for delivery instructions.
