Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks an Operational Specialist to join the Hobbs, NM team. You will deliver chemical treatments to oil wells, operate delivery vehicles, and maintain safety with daily inspections.

Role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), ability to obtain HazMat/Tanker endorsements within 30 days, and English proficiency. Occasional long shifts and safety-sensitive work are expected at times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must currently hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must be willing to obtain Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsement within 30 days.
• One year of commercial driving experience within the past three years.
• Clean motor vehicle record (3 years).
• Must speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemical treatments to oil wells and operate vehicles delivering chemicals.
• Chemically treat all scheduled wells and locations regularly.
• Report safety hazards to sales and supervisor.
• Maintain truck and equipment through daily and periodic inspections.
• Keep accurate driver logs (Turnpike and/or paper).
• Maintain safety skills and drive improvements.
• Identify and avoid safety hazards in the work environment.
• Load trucks properly, prepare bills of lading, schedule treatments, and submit reports.
