Job summary

Airgas in Ankeny, IA is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) to load, deliver, and unload gas cylinders at customer locations. You will record deliveries, ensure signatures, and comply with DOT and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements is required.
• Hazmat credential must be current and active.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and medical card.
• No DUIs in the last seven years and limited traffic incidents.
• Able to lift 75 lbs and handle heavier loads with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload gas cylinders to customer sites.
• Record deliveries and pickups on manifest; obtain signatures.
• Follow SAFECOR and regulatory requirements (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Assist in warehouse or dock as needed.
